The 3rd COE-INES International Symposium on Innovative Nuclear Energy Systems, INES-3, aims at summarizing recent research activities relevant to the development of innovative nuclear reactor systems and innovative separation/transmutation systems with a broad perspective and flexible ideas for realization of a low-carbon society.  The symposium is organized by the Center for Research into Innovative Nuclear Reactors, CRINES, that is established after successfully completed COE-INES program, and RLNR, Tokyo Tech.  The symposium is held in succession to INES-1 at Shinjuku, Tokyo in 2004 and INES-2 at Yokohama in 2006.
